If fit pretty sure Fisher is straight back in.
Would probably agree. Would allow Comrie back in a RWB ahead of Ohalloran

Another game that could go either way. Hopefully another win but will be a struggle up against Brian Graham, who always seems to score against us recently.

Yeah just watched the highlights he was unlucky with a few chances.
Unlucky or just a ****e at finishing?
He's been in those positions several times and not taken the chance. To me that's not unlucky, he'll score eventually, but he's not unlucky imo

Great result and probably should've been much more comfortable score wise, some really good counterattack football
-
Decent half
Probably deserve to be in front, although Airdrie have had a few decent chances also, with Mehmet having a couple decent saves.
Think we need to work a bit more at stopping them getting crosses into the box.

Back 3 of Comrie Hamilton and Otoo by looks of it

Airdrie are decent going forward and with our makeshift back three it wouldn't surprise me if we conceded a couple goals
Think it will be a score draw or Airdrie win if we don't take out chances

I'm expecting, and hoping that if the rumours of it being seven figures are correct, a fair amount will be due to the training pitch.
To play a bit of devil's advocate, one of the "costs" of getting relegated is normally the lower crowds as well as the cut in prize money. Except that in our case our tickets sold actually increased last season, (over 85k tickets sold at EEP last season, compared to 61k the season before) and while there is a difference in prize money, if we're budgeting for 8th then the extra 110k is going to be quickly swallowed up by the improved contracts we've handed out.
I'm not sure how much detail will be in the accounts, but if our squad last year which was very small and supplemented with allot of loan players wasn't financially viable on average crowds of 4 and a half thousand, then what is?
Add in that we also sold naming rights of the stadium

Hopefully he fails miserably, nothing against him, quite liked him as manager here, but don't want Arbroath turning a corner form wise

Also another plus is this game has a decent chance of being played on the next Scottish cup weekend with both clubs being out, so hopefully avoid a midweek fixture

Just look forward to the euro draw now, few extra hours in the pub before it I suppose won't do any harm

Wighton's movement and the stuff hedoes off the ball is excellent, and goes unnoticed far too often unfortunately... He's the main reason Matty Todd got so many goals last season...
I also think, Todd not playing has had an impact on Wighton's game. Looking forward to a fully fit Todd and Wighton playing soon.
The main problem for Wighton is he is coming deep to get on the ball and linking up phases of attacking play, which he is really good at, but as he has dropped deep it often means that we only a small number players in the box as no one from midfield seems to go beyond him, hopefully that changes now Todd is back.
Personally I would rather he was in the box getting on the end of chances as he is a good finisher.

Undersoil heating was switched on yesterday so game will be on
Have the club announced that?
Would be good if they did officially imo

Wouldn't surprise me if it's called off (doubt we will be desperate for it to be on due injury situation) and moved to the same date as next round of Scottish cup

Good win.
Ok performance, hopefully injuries aren't to bad otherwise could be a tough few weeks with a even more makeshift defence than normal

Getting down the side of Arbroaths defence at will now.
Wighton should've added a another. Should be finishing that

Yes, bit more cutting. Just what the doctor ordered before a big game against Queens.
2nd half exactly what we needed.
Agree, better half, created a bit more and Wighton been in right place at right time twice.
Defence not been tested tonight really.
Shame about all the injuries
