  2. Werder Bremen had a man sent off yesterday, scored about 10 minutes later to make it 2-1 away to Mainz and pretty much dominated the last 20 minutes or so. If I was a Mainz fan I would have been raging, It was Werder Bremen that seemed to have the extra man as they were finding space everywhere. I recall a Pars v Dundee United in which we lost 3-1 at EEP after Erik Pedersen had been sent off for United. We got well and truly sucker punched in injury time when Jim McInally scored their third and for some reason I vividly remember his interview on Sportsound "they were so dominant you would think to that we had 2 men sent off".
  3. Only saw the highlights from Rovers' Twitter and it appeared that we destroyed them from what they showed, 4-0 or 5-0 wouldn't have flattered us. Red card was a stonewaller, Kane would have been one on one had he not been scythed down, we got away with one with Hamilton trying to rip a Rovers player's jersey off at a corner but how often do things go against us? So, I am taking that bit of luck. Has Otoo been encouraged to ping more shots in from range? Seems like he is trying to work the keeper every time he is at least 20 yards out. I like that though, been a while since we had someone willing to shoot from anywhere.

  5. If Rovers score first we lose. If we score first we might win but will probably draw.
  6. At the moment ambitious managers wouldn't (and shouldn't) touch this club with a bargepole. It's run disgracefully. Hughes didn't have his hands tied behind his back, (apparently Meggle tried and wanted to personally approve every signing made but Ross intervened and told him that he was still the chairman and the final say was still his although that account came from Hughes and I am taking it with a full sellar of salt given Hughes' propensity to talk pish) I believe that McPake at least deserves the chance to show what he is capable of without being shackled. Don't get me wrong there does need to be a marked improvement in performances and firstly results, and normally I would be calling for McPake to go. I would also think that anybody who is interested in the club would have already been talking to potential new managers. I just think getting rid of McPake at the moment would be the wrong decision, as what would happen if the new board don't fancy the new guy on charge? That's another payoff and us looking more tinpot than we already are.
  7. All very well saying that McPake should go but which manager in the right mind would touch a club where the board wants out? We would end up with someone like Jim Duffy. Also, who would be interim manager, because I assume Mackay would be away if McPake goes? Meggle? Who runs away at the first sign of trouble? In my opinion I would give McPake until the start of the January window to get us out of the bottom two and if he doesn't then bye bye.
  8. I knew right away that it wasn't @Stanza because he has the common sense to know the last names of the Scottish based directors, and wouldn't whinge about their surnames not being given. Also, as far as I as am aware he doesn't live in Dunfermline.
  9. Wimbledon before the league permitted their move to Milton Keynes and their name change to MK Dons leading to AFC Wimbledon.
  10. Already booked. Scored a goal and didn't lose, it's a start.
  11. Saw this pic on Facebook of Selhurst Park these days and thought a comparison would be good.
  12. Will be playing in the Conference League for TNS this season. Are we likely to receive any bonuses or anything for that? Or would it just be sell ons etc that we would get money for if there was anything negotiated (previous board so likely)?

  14. Isn't the Slovan Bratislava away programme one of the hardest to get a hold of?
