Think more to do with the poor transfer window and the way the club has been run he means. We have started well but it was clear from watching the performances that we needed to add around 4 players to be in with a chance of winning the league.

Hopefully we will see Cook change the fortunes but I hope the original board members are not involved in football decisions,they even admitted a few years back they needed help.

Some of the same ones who made the bad decisions which led to this mess are still involved.

Don't think you can blame McPake here, he will identify a player and then its up to the Sporting Director and CEO/Chairman to get the deal done.

You would imagine the players we are trying to get on loan from the premiership will also have offers from the championship. We are not attractive to players. Maybe only 3 games in September but we could still get injuries/suspensions.

At the moment we are a couple of injuries/suspensions away from a disaster,hopefully see a few signings in.

I think the club would be happy if we got knocked out of this competition, they wont want to risk injuries and also travel expenses if we get drawn against a Welsh or Northern Irish team in the next round.

I thought we played well on Saturday and have to agree with Kelty that a couple of signings in and we will be up challenging for the title come the end of the season. Bene and Hamilton have been very good signings.

Would imagine we will be playing the youngsters in this tournament. We can't risk our first team players getting injured.

It might not be just as easy as walking away,the club came to an agreement to take control of the site and I am sure the press reported we had taken on a long lease for it.

I would take a guess that McPake is getting frustrated with the lack of business being done and the threadbare squad we have. Time is running out in the transfer window and we are about 4 players short of having a squad able to challenge for the title. We can't rely on the youngsters when the players we have start getting injured or suspensions.

Is McPake happy with the backing he has had from the board in the transfer window? Do we know how much the new training ground is going to cost and are Fussball GMBH committed to funding it? Can we realistically afford the running costs of EEP and a training ground in the third tier? Cheers Piracy

Hopefully we manage to come to some sort of agreement with Dorrans and remove him from the wage bill. Arbroath have apparently been watching Todorov but not sure if they have made an official approach to take him on loan.

2-1 Airdrie. Being brutally honest we have been very poor in 3 out of the 4 league games so far,still very good having 10 out of a possible 12 points though. The team is in desperate need of creativity and we need to see Todorov starting before McCann. If we don't manage to sign any players this week and Airdrie beat us we could see a very interesting post match interview from McPake.
