Hardly looking forward to the possibility of being relegated but the consequences of poor decisions at boardroom level was eventually going to catch up with us. Bad managerial appointments and a big turn over of players every season was never going to take us forward. Look at Arbroath,they have had the same core of players and add 4/5 new players to improve them and they are doing fantastic. We have had something like 33 players on the pitch at some point this season which is a disgrace.

We should have offered him a one year contract and not took the risk,it was always a gamble signing a player who was out for 18 months of his career through an injury and giving him a lucrative 2 year deal. He has not been in the squad for 16 games this season (couple of games with covid) and is going to make a cameo appearance in a vital game. The player/managerial recruitment at East End has been shocking over the last few years and it looks like we are finally going to pay the consequences for it.

He was out with an ankle injury near the start of the season and has been missing for the last seven weeks with a calf injury. His rangers career was plagued with injuries and his pars one hasn't been much different. We cant afford to waste money on players who are going to make a cameo appearance from the bench or be up in the stand.

He was out for almost two years through injury and when he returned from Australia he went on trial in Scotland and England failing to get a contract. I dont think he was on trial with us and we give him a 2 year deal. It would have been safer to give him a one year deal with the option of a second to a player who is coming to the end of his career and was out for so long with an injury. Let's hope the club have a relegation clause in his contract because we wont be able to afford his high wages if we are in league one next season.

Dorrans going to be playing 30 mins on Friday,he has missed the last 8 games. The second highest paid player in the championship after Lafferty and is usually in the stand. Just shows you how poor the player recruitment has been at the club,he was out for ages at Rangers and we give him a 2 year contract.

I wont say too much on here but incidents at two away games in the covid season led to me not having much time for them. They shouldnt have treated fans the way they did.

On the subject of the board of directors, when are the club going to officially announce that William Braisby is a director? The guy is always in the pars shirt and tie and in the directors box. The club should give an official announcement or are they afraid of the backlash? This club needs a big clear our from top to bottom!

If Martin has been training this week and is up to fitness I would start him. Edwards came into the Ayr half and misplaced his pass at least four times in the second half, he was lucky Ayr didn't punish us on the break. Lewis Martin can play left back,he wouldn't be out of position?

I have no doubts if Ryan didn't have the two injuries he would be playing at a higher level. Hibs showed an interest in him at one point. The way he was treated by some pars fans was shocking and eventually he had to take the decision to move on.

Thought Comrie has been poor compared to last season.

If he is fit enough to play against Partick I would start him at left back,Edwards was poor on Saturday.

You would imagine Mehmet and Dorrans will be happy enough to not play and still be the highest earners at the club. Cole and Breen will probably be looking to move on in the summer,they dont seem to be in Yogi's plans.

Hopefully the club and Dorrans will come to a mutual agreement at the end of the season to terminate his contract.

Dorrans will miss this game but Hughes is hopeful he will be available to play a part in the last two games,he wont last the full 90 minutes though.

I think we will win this one and make the last two games nail biters. Let's get a big crowd in on Saturday and back the team to victory. These last three games are vital for what direction we are going in,relegation will set us back a good few years and could end up in the same situation as Falkirk.

I wouldn't be confident of us winning the play-offs,we are not consistent enough to come through it unscathed. Still plenty of twists and turns to come in the next three games, our recent home form gives us a chance of finishing 8th.
