  1. Just got my mate his ticket, surely more than 500 going lol.Looking forward to it,few pints in coadys before and have a good moan about the pars.
  2. When they first got involved Ross did say that the playing budget would be staying the same and not to expect an influx of big signings. Fussball GMBH did make extra funds available for Yogi to bring in an extra three players in this month and can bring in more by offloading some. They have invested large amounts in to the club already, the 30% shares they have is believed to be around about the half million pound mark and putting around about one million pounds in to the new training grounds, plus more money invested in to the club eg the new floodlights. We have every right to be suspicious though after what happened under Masterton and Yorkston.
  3. Yeah this was mentioned at the supporters meeting but glad that it has been cleared up,some supporters thought that Fussball GMBH had a majority share in the club.
  4. https://dafc.co.uk/story.php?ID=13558&s=09
  5. It's crazy to think we are bottom of the league and could be loaning our best finisher to Arbroath for their title challenge.
  6. Keep an eye on the ticket site,my mate just got two tickets 10 minutes ago after someone had cancelled.
  7. I was speaking to two older women in the park this morning and they both said "what's going on at the pars? Definitely something wrong behind the scenes". Even people who aren't that interested in us can see that something is wrong at the club!
  8. Dick will use him properly and get the best out of him. I hope Arbroath go on and win the league, still an ignorance towards Dick in Scottish football which is crazy.
  9. Got our tickets booked for this, must be of our heads lol
  10. He will have gained a lot of experience working under Ross at Sunderland and Hibs, both clubs I think pushed the sack button on them too early. As Boston says he was in charge of a complete mess. He is well thought of in Scottish football.
  11. He is helping Queens Park out this week by taking the training sessions while they look for a new manager. I wonder if Potter could be tempted to have another try at management?
  12. Doubt rangers will loan him to us after Kennedy was recalled for not getting enough game time. The other teams after him are more attractive than us.
  13. Ewan Henderson signed a deal with Hibs last week.
  14. A player who I would go for is Dylan Easton from Airdrie,he would cost a transfer fee but we have done business with them before. He could be that bit of creativity we need.
  15. The board needs a reshuffle in the summer but cant see it happening, they have too much involvement in pars United, business club and lifeline to give their position up. They should be thanked for their services during the admin days and realise that it is time for fresh ideas.
  16. I stay next to the civil service ground and work has started on the building already and work on the training pitches to start this month if all goes to plan. I think Dick is happy enough at Arbroath but pink is eyeing up one last big job for them. Dick has said previously he would only go to two full time clubs, one being us. Arbroath could be in top flight football next season and we could be in the third tier.
  17. Who will be our centre back pairing for this game? This season we have had- Gaspuitis, Graham,Comrie,Jones,Watson, Martin, Connolly and Donaldson play in that position. Its absolutely shocking how many centre backs we have went through this season.
  18. Would we have the budget for a CEO? Gary Holt has just been chased out of Falkirk in his role as DOF. League one is a lot harder league than the last time we were in it. Relegation would be an absolute disaster but has been in the pipeline for a few seasons through poor decisions at boardroom level.
  19. Good to see them get through to the 4th round of the FA Cup with a shock win over AFC Wimbledon yesterday. Watching the highlights yesterday brought back some good memories of our trip down to London to play them in the challenge cup. A forgettable match but an unforgettable away day.
  20. The club need to do something to improve the matchday experience, something I thought the new owners would have been looking at when in Germany the whole matchday experience attracts a lot of people from the UK. I know the costs would be an issue with bt and sky but it would definitely attract more people in for the early kick off and the 530 game. A lot of fans going in to the east port before heading along for the game or going in to coadys because they can get served quicker and a 10 minute walk to the ground. Should be looking at using the bars for more events too, the rovers use the 200 club for quiz nights,q&a with former players etc,its extra revenue for the club. I think they should also look at relaxing the rule of no away fans allowed in legends/Charlie D's. When we follow the pars away we get welcomed into teams social clubs like Buckie,Inverness,Forfar, Elgin etc. I understand not letting the old firm and Falkirk fans in but should allow other clubs fans in. We must be one of the only clubs in Scotland to not let away fans in.
  21. David Cook starts this month working closely beside Ross and will start the job fully next season. He has a massive job on his hands. Did you not suggest the idea of a club membership scheme last season and was rejected by the club Oz? A lot of supporters have stopped going already and will be hard to get them back, two from our bus haven't been all season because of decisions made by the board. We will be lucky to sell 2000 season tickets next season. The new CEO is going to have to revamp a lot at the club- Lifeline, hospitality, legends etc. I think it would be a good idea to make Charlie D's a members bar like the Rovers have the 200 club, pay a yearly membership and get bt or sky installed. Our match day hospitality and bars are mediocre compared to Kelty Hearts. I very rarely go to Legends nowadays, about 5 of us drink in coadys pre and post match now instead of legends and a few others are the same. Fussball GMBH wanted to be hands on but we only really see/hear Meggle and Teller. Gundermann who is financially backing the group is invisible and I have only seen Keretic once at a supporters meeting. They need to be engaging with the fans more and get them back on side.
  22. Something was mentioned by Ross at the supporters meeting about the shares, I don't think the option was fully taken up. They have connections to St Pauli but don't own them.
  23. I think they still only have 30% shares atm
  24. Still holds an unofficial role on matchdays at the club,I sent the slo an email about it and was brought up at a meeting but no reply.
