We Are Tough Enough

Last season the big complaint was that we were bullied by teams like Peterhead.  Over the last couple of days we've complained about the tactics of Forfar with some strong challenges.

We've brought in some tougher characters this season, but so far, we've simply outplayed teams.  Im sure that when the going gets tougher, the pitches get heavier, and folk cotton on to how to set up to play us, our tougher characters will show that steel. 

We knew this season would be tough, lets stop bleating about what other clubs do, because at some stage, when results are tougher to grind out, we'll need to adopt some of these tougher tactics too.

I think the squad is tough enough, when it is needed.

I do think the fans are getting soft for some reason. Maybe it's not being used to the team playing good football.

Our lads will be able to handle whatever is thrown at them this season and if there is ever any doubt just throw Talbot and big BRE in there

Oh, Im sure we are tough enough.  I just think that we need to be aware of the level we play at now.

Its also worth considering, we are playing against guys who probably know in their head what they want to do, they just lack the pace and/or ability for their brains to action it.  Net result being the odd late challenge that lacks intent, isn't malicious, its more clumsy.  Its actually these tackles that do the worst kind of damage, and look worse from a spectators view.
