Applepar
As someone who only makes it to around five games a year, I tend to sit in different areas of the ground. I think overall I prefer the main stand for a clear view of each half. What's everyone's favourite seat and why? Keyser Soze
Certainly in my teens and early 20s as close to the away fans as possible at the segregation. That’s where all the fun was. I’ve never been one for having the best view of the game in all honesty. Priority was always being where the atmosphere was.
the saline hill puma
Norrie gets a good view of the whole pitch but I often sit the NW thesedays when I go along, bit more atmosphere and okish view most of the time unless up the far corner by the NE stand
rosythpar
I sit three rows from the back in the Norrie behind the goals and it's a great view.
Digs
I prefer the Norrie. It's a good view of the whole pitch but can be absolutely baltic with the space round about you in winter though. Any other game I go to outside of East End I prefer to stand on the halfway line, but 1, that's not possible at East End anyway unless you are sitting the hospitality seats in the Main stand, 2, the view from the NW is too low. I like the height of the Main stand but there are too many restrictions on view depending on where you are sitting with pillars and bottom of the stand when the ball goes into the corners. It does capture a lot of the chat on the pitch though which is interesting to hear during a game.
Piracy
North West stand for me. My dad took us in that area since we were wee bairns. He sat in there till he took ill last year at 84 year old. So it's got a huge personal significance for me. My season ticket has me sitting in against the wall at the west end of the NW. Sit there with friends. Not a great view but it's a boisterous atmosphere and full of energy, which I like at games.
Al k
As a kid it was the cages, i always like being around the half way line. Have never liked the view behind the goals.
Boston Red Sox
Still the NW as that's where I fell in love with the Pars. Back in the day there was a decent group of young lads and we had out "bit" next to the segregation. You never had mobiles but you knew there would always be at least 6-8 of your neeburs at the "bit", it was more than football so I guess I'm just living in the past 😁
scottyboy
NW watching the linesman chasers.
DAFC1885
Bottom corner of NW the section next to the young team. Better views elsewhere in the ground but can’t beat being with my pals in the corner and the atmosphere generated in the area
Superally
Middle of the Norrie for me, half way up behind the goals
Buffy
I miss my seat in the second last row in the Norrie - and despite the blooming pillar being in the way at the 25 yard mark for a free kick at the Cowden end I’m happy in the main stand ~ in the body o the Kirk - in the Pb.
