So if we consider it likely/possible to catch 5th, there's not really any reason we can't catch 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th. True, but we can only realistically catch any of the top 5 who fall apart in the second half of the season. Although they're all tightly bunched just now, it's likely they'll string out between now and next May. They're not all going to collapse, so finishing 5th is far more realistic than finishing top. GG Riva Posted November 23, 2021 Author Report Share Posted November 23, 2021 In all seriousness, I remember a sequence in 1965 in which the Pars played on the Saturday, followed by a SC replay on the Monday evening, a European game on the Wednesday night and a league game the following Saturday.
