Looks at the terms of the "bailout" for football compared to rugby in Scotland. Its pretty obvious who the government favours.

Never realised that.

Obviously makes the comment below a little bit obscure. Why would the SNP do anything to help a bunch of Pish Drinking Tory Weirdos 😂

Because the SNP have proved themselves to fairly incompetent during this pandemic.

Also the fact we aren’t doing a ballot maybe suggests that the clubs do have assurances about full crowds from the 17th, otherwise first come first served for other games wouldn’t be fair

Possibly they can block out those who go to the Hamilton game, giving others a chance.

I think its hope rather than any assurances over the 17th.  I don't think we can credit the club with any inside knowledge.

The club’s announcement really hammers home how nonsensical the 500 rule is. The club is allowed to accommodate up to an additional 200 fans in hospitality as long as they stay inside.

I assume that there won’t be as many as 200 due to social distancing but 500 is a hard limit outside, regardless of the size of the stadium. Even though the scientific evidence is clear that we are a lot safer meeting outside than inside.

The 500 limit has to be lifted as it simply makes no sense.

The changes to isolation rules means we must lift all restrictions on stadiums pubs nightclubs etc on the 17th, otherwise it completely defeats the purpose IMO

Reading now SPL clubs are exploring the options of playing their games over the border once the winter break is over if the restrictions are left at 500 supporters.

Would the threat of this happening have any bearing on future decisions?

It would certainly make a mockery of the rules if you had coaches full of fans travelling down to the North East and North West to play there games and I don't think they would struggle to fill the stadiums even with local representations.

2-3 hours will get you to Burnley, Sunderland, Bolton, Blackburn, Newcastle, Middlesborough all big stadiums.
