Have to say well done to the club for sticking by him and hope he’s back in the 1st team starting soon. Superally Posted January 2, 2022 Report Share Posted January 2, 2022 He has been a long time out of the game and is probably at risk of a recurring injury. I would rather see him ease himself back and look towards a longer contract in the summer rather than being considered as the person to depend on and solving a host of problems. To be out injured for almost 2 years must’ve been a horrible experience for him. Digs Posted January 5, 2022 Report Share Posted January 5, 2022 Great to see him back. I hope he is able to reproduce the sort of form that saw him called up to the 21's a few years ago. Any player would find it tough being out for so long but it is even harder for the young guys who are less established.
