rosythpar
He is in advanced talks to become the new Kilmarnock manager. A good appointment at this level if he takes it.
Rengade Master
Surprised by this and the fact he is even interested in it. Thought he would be aiming a little higher after all he knocked back the rangers job, thought he would at least wait for a premiership team, no certainty that Kilmarnock will go back up this season unless he can make some serious additions to their squad. Secure Par
I know Jack Ross and Potter turned the job down before Xmas. Good manager but he will need time.
Number Eleven
I think he’d be a really good appointment for Kilmarnock. No manager brings guaranteed success but his record suggests he should improve them significantly. I do wonder what sort of budget the new manager will be given for new players. Superally
Has signed up at Killie. Surprised at the as they are not certainties in going up so it will be interesting to see what he can do. Would have thought he may chanced a vacancy at a Premiership club though
Digs
Did we approach him? If not, why not? Could we have afforded him? Could we have matched his ambition? Would he have wanted to come to a team in our position? Who knows, but it's all the more frustrating that he is now at another Championship club as he would have been a lot of other peoples first choice, including my own. Keyser Soze
I seem to recall McInnes salary was deep into six figures at Aberdeen. You’d imagine he’s taken a fairly hefty pay cut to sign up to the Killie job but even then I’d be amazed if we’d get anywhere near close enough to tempting him. My cousins mate works for Aberdeen and when rangers came in for him, the chairman Stewart Milne offered him a hefty wage rise. Before that offer, One day when they arrived for work, they were told anything with mcinnes on it had to be removed

I had no idea it was that high tbh.
Grant
Kilmarnock are a far better proposition to manage than us, they've been in the Premier league every season for the last 20 seasons, bar this one. We've been in one season since 2008? I'm not sold on the Hughes appointment but we weren't in any danger of being attractive to McInnes.
