DA-go Par Adonis
I hope he has the brass neck to say he's delighted to join us as we're a sleeping giant. When he first heard of our interest, he knew there was only one place he wanted to be - and that was East End Park. kelty_par
Good signing for us I think, probably be on the bench for tomorrow. Gives us cover more at left back now as Martin is probably stronger there, but good options to have
Raymie
Who makes way? Will he go with a back three a la Peter Grant ? I don’t think they would be suited to that? Lack of pace and Donaldson not so comfortable on the deck. would suggest he doesn’t rate Breen? Edited February 4, 2022 by Raymie
kelty_par
I’d say it’s more the fact he doesn’t rate breen or jones. Plus if Martin were to get injured then we’d need another option, or maybe jones will go out on loan now?

Gives us some flexibility too, since Martin has played LB too, so can be cover for Edwards.
Raymie
On reflection, we need 4 centre backs to give adequate cover for injuries or suspensions
Keyser Soze
Martin should be playing LB anyway tbh. Wasted in the middle.

I’d say he’s been one of our most solid performers this season, he’s improved every season he’s been with us IMO

I don't see how Efe can just walk straight into the team, given Martin and Donaldson have done well since the Morton game. He'll have to bide his time and grab his chance when it comes along. I think if the manager looks at the opposition and the tactics he wants to employ against them and feels that he can walk straight in the team, then I guess he will. That's the way his job works..... scottyboy
Hopefully Efe will be a good signing for us. He's definitely got loads of experience. Edited February 4, 2022 by scottyboy
