Superally
Well Saturday brings a visit to Kilmarnock for a rearranged fixture after the game was abandoned poised at 1:1 early in the second half due to severe fog. The Pars equalizing an Oli Shaw Pen with a Wighton goal and were nicely poised being the team in ascendancy. There have been massive changes to Killie since then, with former Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes taking over from Tommy Wright. Killie have also recruited well over the Jan transfer window in a desperate push to regain promotion to the top tier. The form guide suggests this appears to be working for them sitting 2nd in the table with 8pts from their last five games with 1-0 away loss to leaders Arbroath in their last game. Killie are not the greatest goal scorers (28) only managing 5 more than the Pars but their defence is the meanest conceding just 16, so this will be a tough game. The Pars form has improved with 4 games unbeaten and taking 8pts over their last 5 games. The Pars have equally recruited well but it has been mainly defensively. Goal scoring is still a problem and Yogi may be looking for our team not to concede in the first instance. The prospect of a Thomas returning to his old hunting ground and the possible debut of Ambrose will make it interesting for the faithful who journey down. Officially last time out was a 2-2 draw at EEP with Thomas scoring and Comrie bagging a late equalizer in the 95th minute. Every game is vital for the Pars atm and every point is a prisoner, we have a tough series of 4 games against top sides coming up where we also play Killie twice. I’ll be happy if we leave Rugby Park with a point 1:1. COYP
1950Par
I would also settle for a point, - win our home games draw the away games against teams in the top 5 - and we will be safe Edited February 8, 2022 by 1950Par add a word
scottyboy
I'd take a draw away from home also. We'll have to play half decent to get it. 1-1 again for me.
Piracy
Battle and win this then I'll be sure we're turning a corner. Still a long way to go and we're going to have to battle right to the end of the season.

rosythpar
Agree with above would be happy with a point and keep the unbeaten run going. Will be interesting to see if Yogi changes who plays up top. Killie have spent big in January to try and get promotion and will be favourites for the game on Saturday. Guest The Service
If Ayr can take some bodies on the pitch tomorrow and Dom and Ambrose are fit you never know. Will just follow the game with Jeff tho lol
the saline hill puma
Don't think Killie are all that great and think we have a chance if we play well. Cant see Hughes changing to much in terms of starting 11, maybe Ambrose for Martin but other than that will probably be same as down at Ayr.

GG Riva
I wouldn't be surprised if we do come away with a point, but I hope we don't go there to defend for a 0-0. Such tactics rarely work for the full 90 mins. Edited February 9, 2022 by GG Riva
Superally
Needing to see an improvement in tonight's HT scores. Hamilton winning and Ayr drawing
scottyboy
Arbroath score in injury time. We're still deep in the mix. Partick dark horses now. They conceded at the death also. Edited February 9, 2022 by scottyboy If we do end up in bottom 2, then it'll be draws that put us there.
kelty_par
We really need a win Saturday. Getting to the stage where draws aren’t much use. Morton play QOTS Saturday so something has to give there
