I’d be surprised if we managed to tempt the lad down to league one as he’s definitely had offers in the Championship. Yes, feet on the ground. Friendlies bear little resemblance to competitive football. Love a good winger, However in their absence the overlapping full back can be extremely effective especially if they can cross a decent ball in. Otherwise you may just looking at a long ball game which I hate. Again they don't paint the full picture but a lot better to be winning against league teams and not shipping goals against non-league teams.
