True, playing them both away from home I wouldn’t suggest but at home when we should be pressing teams more and considering how defensive minded some of them will be coming to EEP, set plays and deliveries into the box will be huge. See, yesterday I thought that's exactly what Wighton showed, seemed so much more eager to work hard, chasing back, winning the ball. Much more like O'Hara than usual. Playing strikers as wide players is not how we are going to create chances for the like of McCann, O'Hara, Wighton and Todorov. They need to be in the middle getting proper service. I think the problem is players picking to go the championship rather than coming here. I think looking at the squad we have right now we would be struggling to win the league. DA-go Par Adonis Posted July 31, 2022 Report Share Posted July 31, 2022 If you watched the game yesterday, I'm not sure how you could conclude that we'd challenge for the league. However, with Hamilton and Dorrans coming back and the addition of a couple of wide men, an attacking midfielder and a back-up centre back, we might have a chance.
