As I said in the edit, I merged the threads, because I felt that a new thread wasn't necessary with the Dundee United one still near the top of forum. Also, as an added bonus it brings the thread back on topic, and away from the Glasgow idiots. Hardly a shock that Ross has been sacked, United had been struggling and this seems to be the final nail in the coffin. Idle speculation, do you think that Stewart Petrie would fancy it? Was a youth at United before going to Forfar.

Eastendtales
Wasn't Tommy McLean at Raith for a week before jumping to Utd?
lambo1885
If only we had done similar at this point in the season last year.

Behave yersel, min! 😉 United have a poor enough squad without appointing an even poorer manager. It clearly wasn't working out well with Jack Ross, but it'll be interesting to see if his successor will be able to make a significant improvement before he is able to bring in new players in January. It was right that he was eventually sacked, but at this stage of the season he hadn't quite earned it yet IMO.

Was clear then something was totally wrong

Anyway, probably digging at old wounds abit here, I just hope lessons have been learned.
