Jack Ross sacked by Dundee United.

As I said in the edit, I merged the threads, because I felt that a new thread wasn't necessary with the Dundee United one still near the top of forum.  Also, as an added bonus it brings the thread back on topic, and away from the Glasgow idiots.

Hardly a shock that Ross has been sacked, United had been struggling and this seems to be the final nail in the coffin.

Idle speculation, do you think that Stewart Petrie would fancy it?

Was a youth at United before going to Forfar.

Peter Grant for United!

Behave yersel, min! 😉

United have a poor enough squad without appointing an even poorer manager.

It clearly wasn't working out well with Jack Ross, but it'll be interesting to see if his successor will be able to make a significant improvement before he is able to bring in new players in January.

If only we took a leaf out of United’s book last season…

To be fair, while Grant was terrible he never had us conceding 24 goals in four matches or whatever it was. It was right that he was  eventually sacked, but at this stage of the season he hadn't quite earned it yet IMO.

Totally did. Horrific home defeats and no sign of improvement.

He should’ve been sacked after the 3-0 game at home to Arbroath. Was clear then something was totally wrong

Aye I think he was lucky to get the 2nd half that day, nevermind the next 2 months.

Anyway, probably digging at old wounds abit here, I just hope lessons have been learned.
