Its East End Park this Saturday for a top of the table clash against Edinburgh FC. Last time out it was a resounding 3-0 win against the Edinburgh side who had a man sent off A similar score line would be welcomed this Saturday and while the Pars remain the only undefeated side in Scotland this will be a tough game. Edinburgh’s form has sent them to the top of the league and form table and although they have played a game more than the Pars, Edinburgh have won 7 games and lost 3 with no draws. They have conceded 14 goals in the process the second lowest in the league, but they are the highest scorers and have scored 21 goals and have won their last 3 games. This would suggest that this will be a very different encounter this time round. The Pars have got back to winning ways with a robust 3-0 win over Alloa, but while the defence has been miserly – four draws are having an impact. Hopefully the Pars can continue their winning ways against a team that are proving to be a bit of a dark horse and early title contenders. It will be a tough game but I think McPake should be smiling at the end of this one 2-1 Pars win. COYP
