The Roy Barry Fan Club
Just heard that Dave has died. Many people will have known Dave well and been aware of his struggle with cancer. He was a lovely, genuine guy and a true Par. He was on the Press Door for many years, and as I sit nearby the Press Box, I used to talk with him at most home games. I will miss him. He was extraordinarily generous in those difficult days of 2012/13 when we were struggling to save the Club, and he helped me in a number of practical ways which I will always remember and be grateful for. Sincere condolences to his family. Edited October 14, 2022 by The Roy Barry Fan Club

Secure Par
Very sad news. Used to red card me on .net numerous times and when I seen Dave on match days had a laugh about it. A top pars man RIP Dave.

Piracy
He first went out his way to speak to me back in 2013ish. Never knew the guy before that, but then I never knew a lot of fellow fans. He was a good man in my experience and I was genuinely saddened to hear about Dave. SanguinePar
Don't think I knew Dave, although I'd maybe recognise him if I saw a photo. Either way, always sad news to lose a fellow Par. RIP.

GG Riva
Just caught up with this thread. I knew Dave for many years. A true gent, always so helpful and accommodating, nothing was ever too much trouble. Along with the late Stuart Arnott, he was a regular at helping out with the weekly Stadium Tours for schoolchildren. I'll miss his welcoming smile and friendly pre match banter. RIP Dave.
