Pars v Forfar (Battle of the bridies!)

It’s the 3rd round of the Scottish Cup this weekend and the Pars welcome Forfar to East End Park. Many fans will remember the legendary relegation play off game in May 2013 when the Pars took on the Loons following a 3-1 defeat at Station Park. The Pars eventually won 6-1 (7-4 agg) after initially going a goal behind and witnessed perhaps the greatest ever meltdown by a team at EEP with 3 Forfar players earning red cards to top off a remarkable day. More recently the Pars played Forfar in a pre-season friendly winning 6-0 with an O’Hara double and goals from McCann, Todd, Fenton and Todorov. Currently Forfar remain at the bottom of League 2 and from being a fairly strong league 1 side they arguably have been in a slow decline since they sacked “the bunnet” Dick Campbell. This season they are at risk of dropping out the senior leagues all together with fairly poor form - they have won 3, drawn 4 and lost 8 games scoring 15 and conceding 24. This game perhaps allows McPake to introduce some of the fringe players and promising youngsters to the team. However, we do have to respect Forfar and treat the game professionally if we are to progress to the next round.  3-0 Pars

Dave MacKay on COW's was hopeful of getting clearance for the loan players for the Forfar game and Scottish Cup

I actually forgot all about fisher. Biggest clue to know if these boys will be here past January. I see Motherwell denied Scott fox clearance to play for queen of the south
