Pars v QoS

Back to league action this Saturday and another home game at EEP where we welcome the Doonhamers. With two games left the league is heading towards the halfway point of the season and the faithful will be willing that recent Pars form continues. Queen of the South still managed by Pars favourite Wullie Gibson have struggled to get the expected bounce from being relegated along with the Pars last season. Currently QoS sit 7th with 22pts they have won 6, lost 6 and drawn 4, scoring 28 goals (4 more than the Pars) but conceded 26. Over the past 4 games they have lost heavily to Falkirk 3-1 and Alloa 5-0 however they hammered Edinburgh 3-0 and their last outing was a 4-0 win against Montrose. QoS inconsistent form must have Gibson perplexed they have the ability to beat most teams on their day but can also lose heavily. Our last meeting at Palmerston was a 2-0 Pars win with goals from Todorov and Breen with the hosts missing a penalty. I suspect this will be a tight game however the Pars are unbeaten in their last 4 and with a confidence boosting 4-0 win against Forfar in the cup I think the Pars and home advantage will have enough for a 2-1 win.
