We're not going to get 44 points if we continue to play negativity-ball. More that ****ty-Taka than Tiki-Taka...

First milestone, get to 44 points as quickly as possible then re-assess the next milestone/ultimate objective dependent on when that is and continue to do that when you hit every milestone. But in a good project plan you give yourselves deadlines to meet any milestone, something they've refused to do. They're was talk about not doing that as it creates pressure. But that's entirely the point, you need pressure

But that's entirely the point, you need pressure It wasn't necessarily about not creating pressure, it was about making unrealistic targets that would never be met that just sound like a wish list and I get that approach. However, that doesn't mean I accept the current state of play. Thinking everything is fine because 44 points is still possible is clearly a flawed approach. I'd like to think that 44 points could be broken down into macro targets, ie, 44 ASAP, with an average of points per quarter being the absolute bare minimum barometer to measure success of where we are against target.
