There's certainly more pressing issues but another senior striker given wighton and kane have injury issues and McCann is better out wide should have always been part of our agenda. We have no option but to play them now and at the same time unsettle the senior players by shifting them around 2-3 different positions every few weeks because the squad is about 6 players light for being able to cover injury prone players like Wighton and Breen. You need a squad to replace out of form players, never mind injuries. Look at Mehmet making mistakes every week and keeps his place because we have nobody else. The board think the squad is fine with Hamilton and Otoo playing a different position every second week. How can we ever get a settled team with owners who think like that. One injury means making two changes by moving other players around. It's hugely worrying. The people running our club are neglecting the first team to extent where I genuinely think they will relegate us again. This academy starts look more and more out of place with every passing week when you look at how weak our first team squad is. If you can't afford to run a first team (the fundamentals of any football club), put the club up for sale and ship out.
