Thats on the investors partially then if they're not setting it up to get regular financial updates. You’re over-simplifying this massively. As I said earlier, confidence is not a black and white issue. Whilst I agree they have gotten this badly wrong, that’s not on McPake, or Mehmet. He has suffered with no-one to train with and push him on. This has carried into preseason and his confidence has suffered due to not playing well in this half a dozen games, summer is a dim and distant memory. He needs to go back to basics, train well, push himself alongside another keeper good enough to do so, and start to do things well again. He’s not going to be able to do that if he’s in the team low on confidence making errors. Goalkeeper is a specialist position and they need managed differently, not least because they tend to be a different breed than other players because of this. I don’t think he’s a brilliant keeper, but I also don’t think he’s as bad as is often made out and needs managing and McPake and his GK coach have been hamstrung in doing that. A few more signings needed. I would hope this guy doesn't make as many mistakes as Mehmet. That would be an improvement on the pitch. McPake seems to think were active in the permanent signing and loan market now according to the DP. Sounded like a few might come in. Not sure what the quality will be though.
