Hamilton v Pars

Recommended Posts

After the turmoil of the DAFC GmbH Fussball intention of withdrawal, it has been a dark fortnight following our last outing and 2-0 defeat to Falkirk at EEP. More than anything it’s all about reaction on and off the park. This Saturday the Pars are away to Hamilton Accies. While in the opening two games the Pars have yet to score a point, Hamilton following their promotion from League 1 are only marginally better off having played three games with defeats to Ayr twice (One game was brought forward due to a cup weekend) and a draw against Morton. With Todd out long term, the two week break will surely allow the opportunity for any minor squad injuries to heal. There was also a bounce game played against Livi with the Pars winning 2-0 and Kane getting additional game time. Although the Manager has been given additional money to sign players on loan there is nothing definitive, yet but there is a suggestion that we may have a loan goal keeper in place at last. While the Pars are bottom of the league, performances still show a lack of resources and confidence rather than ability. With Kane becoming increasing match fit and a 2-0 win in a friendly hopefully the team reaction will be positive. I sense we have a chance to gain a valuable but tight win 2-1 Pars. COYP
