Superally
After the mediocre effort last Saturday the question is will there be a better effort & performance against Airdrie. Even amongst the faithful the enthusiasm is slowly becoming euthanised. Yet despite not even reaching the first quarter of the season there is little for the fans to be excited about and the "R" word and seaside league is being muttered. Airdrie are the only team in a worse position than the Pars, sitting last in the table on the same points - separated only by goal difference and while like the Pars they have scored four they have conceded fifteen, six goals more then the Pars over the same period. Defensively the Pars are not the worst in the league but are consistently giving away soft goals. The main issue is scoring but when the team is set to play and not concede, rather than score your not going to win much games either. I just hope McPake actually picks the right team (this time) that can actually take advantage of the team with the worst defensive record in the league thus far. Sadly I’m not convinced so it’s a 1-1 draw for me. COYP
Boston Red Sox
Give this one a miss. 3-1 Airdrie. Hope I’m wrong as usual
Al k
Tobi awaiting a specialists opinion, sounds like a no for Saturday. So on that bombshell, i'll go for an easy Airdrie win. Finally saw the goals from Saturday. Memhet wasn't directly responsible for both goals, the irony is if he'd got of his line for the first and stayed on his line for the second that could have prevented them. He's finished for me, cost a goal every second game. Unsettles the defense every other.
Deutsch Par
To be honest I was furious when we signed Mehmet as one of the attributes that a good goalkeeper should have is good decision making, and the fact that he injured himself doing a back flip when Dundee United scored against us in the playoffs smacks of abysmal decision making. Giving him a three year contract was also an abysmal decision. He was fine in the League 1 winning season but I guess he wasn't tested all that much. The defence don't trust him and it shows, and nor should they. Westie would normally have a good game with the occasional howler. Mehmet normally has howlers with the occasional good game, it is almost like starting a goal down. Mehmet isn't the worst Pars keeper I have ever seen but he's certainly in the bottom five. Tartan Army Par
Going into the Queens park game I said I wanted 7-9 points from the next three games. One game into those games and we already can't hit that target, so I'll settle for winning our next 2 games, maybe even getting 4 points but it's not a great return looking at those three games. We've signed another player and McPake has been given funds to get a decnt size squad now. There's no excuses anymore for James. We need results now or he needs to be sacked if there is no improvement in the next two league matches. Personally I have lost faith in McPake. I don't think he has the ability to take us to the next level. He has never got to grips with how to attack effectively. 2 and a half years in and it such a hard watch. The one thing he did when he came in was make us defensively sound, but we are pretty poor at that side of the game now. Good young players from 2 seasons ago are regressing. We were told that one of McPakes big attributes was brining youth through, but I don't think he's got pass marks in that area. Sam Young has done fairly well and Otoo has progressed but Fisher, KRH and Todd have not been very good when available in the last two season(injury has been a factor to varying degrees) but doesn't excuse their lack of development to the level it is. Even somebody like McCann has never improved. McPake said he shouldn't be in managment if he can improve a player with his attributes. Then there are players like Comrie, who I think is regressed badly as a player in the last few years. The standard comment that he's always a 7/10 is just nonsense. The guy can't tackle, he so lightweight in 50/50s and is beaten easily by most wingers. Welsh-Hayes looked way better at right back and was a genuine 7/10 right back. Comrie is another one we need to let go in summer along with poor signings like O'Halloran, Wighton, Mehmet and Breen (poor decisions to sign or extened their contracts). All in all he's done more bad than good and for that reason, I want him out. Never felt so disinterested in going to Pars games, having to watch the garbage football we get from this manager.
Salvo Montalbano
Yeah, I won't be going to Airdrie. Getting to the stage where I'm debating whether to go to home games and that's me with a season ticket.
the saline hill puma
Heading through to the game. Can't say I'm optimistic and really just going to catch up with a mate I've no seen for a while.

It's absolutely dispiriting after all those years of support :-( For some reason this season hasn't been so bad (from a personal point of view I mean). Not yet anyway. Number Eleven
A huge game for the Pars today. We need to show more of the intensity we had against Raith and more focus in defending set pieces. I think there is enough talent in this squad to climb the table but they need to start showing it on the pitch.
scottyboy
Impossible score to predict. A cagey draw will keep both managers afloat. I'll go 0-0 in a dire spectacle of a match 😆

I can only hope that JM goes all out for a win from kick off. I am confident that would work but will he go for it?
Piracy
Giving it a miss today regarding attending the match, but I'll be watching it on Parstv. I think it's going to be a turgid affair with a single goal going either way.
