Pars v Morton

After Saturdays win against Kelty Hearts the Pars have another home league fixture this Saturday to face Morton that will bring to an end the first quarter of games this season. Morton sit 6th in the table with 9pts, 4pts more than the Pars. League form guides also suggest that Morton also have an advantage in recent fixtures. Overall they have scored 7 goals and conceded 6. Once again this will be a tough fixture. Its not clear where the Pars are in terms of injuries. Ngwenya made the bench last week and Fogerty was on international duty so they would be expected to appear. Hopefully that will allow both Hamilton and Otoo to progress further up the midfield, Bene remained on the side lines along with McCann and keeper Oluwayami. New signing Dapo Mebude lasted 13mins before coming off injured and received stitches. The Pars started badly against Kelty Hearts but did largely control the game after coming from a goal down but there were some signs of fragility and nervousness towards the end. This will be yet another tough game with Morton Beating Hamilton in the cup last week and Raith the week before. While the Pars drew against Airdrie and beat Kelty Hearts they should also benefit from a slight lift in confidence. However this first Quarter has been disappointing in comparison to last season where at best we can only earn 8pts as opposed to the last seasons 14points over the same period. Can the Pars go three games unbeaten – possibly. We did beat Morton three times last season but were mulled in a 5-0 drubbing, but it will be a score draw for me this weekend. COYP

I sort of feel (hope) that there will be a bounce factor from the win over Kelty. Obviously there won't be a barrow load of goals from the Pars but maybe they'll squeek a 1-0 win?

If we have Tobi back in goals we could maybe get a clean sheet. If mehmet continues in goal then no chance of one I’m afraid
